what is football? From where it was originated?

                                        What is Football?

Football is an outdoor game played

between two teams. Each team tries

to score a goal against the other by

kicking a spherical ball with the foot.

The first official  international football

match was played on the 30th of

 November, 1872, between England and

Scotland. It was held in Scotland at

West  of  Scotland Cricket Club's ground.

Football is played in almost all parts of the world.
As a result, there are many varieties of football.
The most popular one is called association football,
commonly known as soccer. It is also the most
 popular sport in the world.

ASTONISHING    FACT

The largest attendance for a football match ever
was 199,854 people in a World Cup match between
Brazil and Uruguay on July 1950.

                                          Origins

The earliest records of a game resembling
football are documented in a Chinese military
manual dated second and third century B.C. At
that time it was a form of exercise for the Chinese
soldiers known as cuju which means 'kick ball'.
